Foil stamped spines and boards
Gold, silver, blind and coloured foil stamped from bespoke brass dies. Emboss and deboss registered to the foil for a layered, tactile finish on the front board.
Sewn sections
Thread sewn signatures as standard on editions intended to last, giving a book that opens flat without cracking the spine across the whole print run.
Papers and endpapers
Uncoated 90gsm to 150gsm text stocks, silk and matte art papers for illustrated work, plus coloured or printed endpapers, woven headbands and ribbon markers.

Standard hardback production runs 7 to 10 working days from approved proof. Foil stamped cases allow 7 to 14 working days, with next day delivery from dispatch.

Every hardback specification starts with the paper. We match text stock weight and shade to the artwork, then select cloth, foil and laminate so the case reads as one considered object rather than a set of separate decisions.
